January is Almost Over

We’re almost at the end of the month and I’m proud to say I’ve continued my streak of getting the work done. This week I’m back to the day job without any extra days off, so let’s see if I can keep it up. I’ll have to go back to getting up early, lame, but that’s okay.

I’m starting a new short story on Medium this week. Haven’t quite nailed down the details, but I’m sure it will come to me once I open the document. And I had a dream about something creepy that I want to use as my next story on Patreon.

Beyond that, I have one more day of outlining before I start the writing of my next book. This one is called The One with the Demon as of right now, haha. Obviously it will change later. But I did a lot of character work last week and I’m pretty excited to dive in.

The editing for All Signs will be done today as we do the final countdown to launch at the end of February. And I’ve started to dig into the cyber horror developmental edits. This is the real struggle this year, doing second round edits on more than one story at a time. Because I’ve also started on the third witch book since it will be the next one to launch. I don’t think it will be too hard though, since the witch books don’t need as much work.

I also published my cookbook journal last week. So, that’s another journal available. I need to update the journal page on my website. But I’ve been dealing with other technical issues with the verifying my domain thing on the newsletter site. I’ve gone round and round with the support team trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong and it’s making my brain hurt. This is what I need an assistant for.

The AI audio of Birds aren’t real is out everywhere this week and I’m pretty stoked to tell people about it. It sounded really good when I was done with it.

Well, I suppose that’s it. Gonna go get to work.
