I did it! had to really knuckle down and put in the time, but I reached the end just in time.
Next year I’ll make sure to give myself more time to outline and prepare the story. And I’ll have to try and get to the keyboard a little more often so that during the week of Thanksgiving I won’t get behind. And maybe I’ll think about dictating for real. I was going to try it out this year, but didn’t end up doing it. But it would be cool to see if I can dictate my books while I drive to and from work.
The draft is a few scenes short of being finished, but I’ll be able to wrap it up in the next week or two for it to be done by the end of the year. I’m calling it a win.
