November 1st through 5th are off to a great start. Finished the first chapter and bits and pieces of a few other scenes.
One benefit of outlining before writing lets me write all over in the draft instead of trying to write linearly. I found that forcing myself to write in chronological order is the number one way to make me stall out. If I get bored with one scene, I can shift forward and write a different one. And more often than not, the future scene gives me an idea on how to finish the one I skipped.
Also remembered I can write on my phone. I don’t have to have my computer get my words in, so if I’m on the go, I can still get it done.
